A'snan' (bath) on 'Magh Purnima is a sacred moment to take a bath at the Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the rivers Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati under the security of Uttar Pradesh traffic police. The fourth Amrit Snan will take place on Wednesday, February 12 with fair officials as well as the government of the State working to handle the crowd.

Administrative officials have devised specific programs for today, as it is the day to celebrate the conclusion of the month-long 'kalpavas' one of the main traditions of Maha Kumbh. Kalpavas started with the start on the Maha Kumbh the 13th day of January, Paush Purnima.

Uttar Pradesh chief minister Yogi Adityanath has earlier expressed Magh Purnima Best wishes, greetings to the citizens in the state, as well as the devotees and seers who have been there to celebrate celebrations of the Maha Kumbh. He stated that bathing, giving and worship are of particular significance on this day, as it's also a significant day to celebrate the Kalpavasis celebration at Sangam.

To protect the security and safety of everyone who attends the festival, a Prayagraj no vehicle zone is in place with an exception to only emergency vehicles. The Deputy Director General (DIG) Vaibhav Krishna has urged the public to pay attention to the police's X as well as Facebook accounts to verify information.
